Welcome to the 2nd annual Kairos Debate workshop

We are excited to offer Novice Debate training in Tucson! From August 3rd-August 7th at 9am-1pm, nationally ranked alumni from the Stoa league will impart their knowledge of two types of debates on students so that they will be the most prepared for the rest of the season.
This five day camp will educate novice students with the basic theory and execution of Team Policy and Lincoln Douglas Value Debate, equipping them with the knowledge they need to make an educated decision on which style of debate they would like to pursue for the season. Critical research and thinking skills will be explored through this camp, and students have the choice to attend one or both of these debate styles. We recommend both for those unfamiliar with either type of debate.

Juniors (students under twelve years of age) are also welcome to sign up, so long as they are ready to take notes and learn. Parents do not have to stay with their students, but we would ask that you pick them up in a timely manner.

Lincoln Douglas will be Monday and Tuesday.

Team Policy will be taught Wednesday-Friday.

The cost for the full week is $125. Separately Lincoln Douglas is $50, and Team Policy is $75.
Please mail check or pay on first day of camp.

Our location will be:

Mountain View Nazarene Church
410 S Pantano Rd, Tucson, AZ 85710

Registrants will receive confirmation or location changes as soon as we hear back from the facilities managers.
